What is TULI?

The sports club of the Turku University of Applied Sciences, TULI ry, is a registered organization which arranges sports for students and staff of TUAS. You can join the sports club easily by buying the sports sticker.

The sport sticker

The sport sticker is a personal “sports passport” that is attached to the student card (if you do not have a student card you get a separate sports card). The sport sticker is valid for one academic year. With the sport sticker you have the chance to exercise diversely with student friendly prices. Sport sticker costs only 10 euro if you are a member of the Student Union, and 15 euro if not. You can buy the sticker from these places:

- TUO's office in Lemminkäisenkatu Campus

- TUO's bookstore in Ruiskatu Campus

- TUO's bookstore in Sepänkatu Campus

With the sport sticker you can get:
- Free sports hours for futsal, floorball and volleyball
- Discounts from sport tryouts
- A discount when participating in tournaments
- A 20 % discount from all normal priced products in Nike Sport Gallerie shop.

Free sport hours with sport sticker:

To attend the free sport hours you must have a sport sticker or the a sport card. You don't need to enroll, just show up on time and show your sport sticker! If you are late and the door is closed, ring the doorbell.

Sport hours for semester 2011-2012 are:

Floorball

Mondays at Klassikko school at 20.00-21.00 (see map). The door is located behind the school at the back corner. Cancelled at March 12th, 19th and 26th

Tuesdays at Puropelto school at 21.00-22.00 (see map). The door is in the inner courtyard at the same side with Kunnallissairaalantie. Cancelled at February 21st and March 6th

Futsal

Wednesdays at Aurajoki school at 21.00-22.00 (see map).

Volleyball

Thursdays at Aninkainen school at 20.00-21.00 (see map). Cancelled at April 12th and 19th.

Trying of new sports

TULI arranges 2-4 times a month a trial for new sports, a tryout. The meaning of these tryouts is to provide a chance for students to get to know different kinds of sports with a friendly price. The aim is to arrange the trials in the middle of the week during the evening so that as many as possible have the chance to join in. There have been trials in the following sports: Diving, lacrosse, figure skating, circus, ultimate, fencing yoga, martial arts and many more.
